Foreword

VSA arts offers this exhibition as a place to explore the influences of theater, music, and dance within the work of 14 artists with disabilities. With lines that dance, sculpture that bellows, and a signature that creates a sonata, these artists are changing perceptions by cultivating a powerful body of work that thrives on both the familiar and the unexpected.

The exhibition also deepens our understanding of the forces that shape our lives. We offer our most sincere appreciation to these artists who share their personal experiences with us. Through their work, we are invited to discover the many ways that creativity transcends definition.
