liability, insurance, and shipping

Shipping instructions will be sent to artists whose work is accepted for exhibition. VSA arts is responsible for the costs of shipping and acquiring the work’s components (both to the exhibition site and its return to the artist) and will obtain appropriate insurance for the shipment. Artists will be required to supply reusable crates or packing materials to ship the work. All work will be handled with the utmost care. Once the work is received by VSA arts, insurance coverage will be limited to the repair or replacement value, as stated by the artist on the entry form.
