The University of Maryland Concert Choir

Since 2003 the University of Maryland Concert Choir has appeared annually with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Highlights of these collaborations include Bach's St. Matthew Passion under the direction of Helmuth Rilling in 2006 and Handel's Messiah in 2007 led by Baroque specialist Paul Goodwin. The ensemble renewed its collaboration with Maestro Rilling in the spring of 2009 with highly acclaimed performances of Haydn's oratorio Die Schöpfung.
