Scott Norris is a long-term brain cancer survivor. During his recovery, he has discovered a love and talent for art that remained dormant in his first 33 years. He has no formal art training. Through his cancer journey, he has developed a deeper appreciation for the richness and vibrancy of life. This new perspective is protrayed in his art through the use of color and rhythm. Norris' preferred media are digital art and glazed ceramic mosaics. Honors and awards include: one of the top award winners in the Art of Triumph show in Scottsdale, Arizona; cover art for the book, "Words of Inspiration for People with MS" by Ellen Sue Stern; and a winning piece in the National Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) art contest (an image that appears not only on NBTF note cards, but also on the cover of the NBTF Essential Guide to Brain Tumors).
