I work with individuals with disabilities and their experiences are quite different than mine. Most have been institutionalized for a good portion of their lives, isolated, disempowered, and abused. Thank goodness time moves forward because I learn so much from the people I work with. I hold their expressions and impressions of life in such high esteem and look forward to sharing time with them daily. Exhibits like this are wonderful!
