Diaz's artwork was first professionally recognized through an organization known as CONFE. With colored pens and a ruler, Diaz has created art that has been displayed in several international exhibitions. Along with international displays of his work, his art is often displayed at the "Art Garden" at Sullivan Street in Mexico City. Diaz is currently an active member of VSA arts of Mexico where he conducts numerous workshops and exhibits for artists with disabilities.
