(17" x 25"), 1997Jean-Michel Terencio-Arrouet is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. His expressive graphic art works have been shown at exhibitions throughout France and have been featured in the annual 'Artists at the Bastille' exhibition since 1989. Terencio-Arrouet, who has limited mobility due to polio, is not only an accomplished artist, but is also a teacher who shares his passion for art with students with disabilities. Using clay and mixed media he introduces children and youth with disabilities to the possibilities of self-expression through the arts. He shares his love of art both on an individual basis, and through the workshops of Personimages, the VSA arts affiliate in France.
