(15" x 19"), 1993Kouhei Okamoto prefers to center his work around nature and the nature of expression. He feels that all "good art" serves as a catalyst between our daily lives and that of a greater inspiration in the world. His mediums include hand made rice paper, Japan lacquer, acrylic paint, cloth and mud. He was recently involved with the creation of an Art-Bank, listing over one thousand works of art produced by persons with mental disabilities in mediums such as painting, textile and pottery.
