Lim Ah Lee is an active participant in the programs of VSA arts of Singapore. His work is described as "...thought provoking" and carries strength and potential in its vibrant, colorful composition. Ah Lee, who has Hansen's Disease, has used his painting to help him alleviate the physical pain of his disability.
