plaster and oil (32" x 43"), 1997Sergio Giraldo studied art in Medell'n at the 'Amigos de los Límitados' (Friends of the Disabled), an organization associated with VSA arts of Colombia. His works have been exhibited in both collective and individual shows where he has been praised for the beautiful textural quality of his work. Giraldo, who has a physical disability, came to art very late in life, but has mastered an exciting textural style.
