Tetsushi Iwashita, a native of Osaka, is a talented artist who is fascinated by portraiture. This large, colorful depiction of Buddha demonstrates Iwashita's skill and mastery of drawing and form. Iwashita, who is partially paralyzed and has a developmental disability, is a participant in the programs of VSA arts of Japan. He has been featured in several group and solo exhibitions, and has participated in several festivals.
