Anthony J. Zaremba's appreciation for music is evident in his watercolor paintings. Both music and art have sustained him through physical complications as a result of multiple sclerosis. Unable to paint with his natural right hand, Zaremba trained himself to paint with his left. The transition from right-handed painting to left-handed painting, in addition to a recent tremor, has changed his work from a defined technique to a loose style reminiscent of impressionism. "Art has consciously transformed my life and inspired a spirit within me to seek a deeper meaning to all that surrounds me." "I paint not only with a brush, watercolor and paper, but with what I feel inside. That's my most important instrument." |
