“ Art is my life.”

Sivorak Mom is captivated by nature and attempts to capture it within his paintings. His tranquil scenes often evoke the subtle effects of light, whether reflections on water or spotlights that expose the unique textures of botany. For Sivorak, art is a significant force in his education and personal development. "Art helped me realize who I am, helped me meet new friends, and helped me with school projects." He credits his two favorite art teachers, Mrs. Zuer and Ms. Rasmussen, for nurturing his artistic development. "They always encourage me and give me direction to improve my skills, and push me to try new techniques." Sivorak recently learned that he has a physical disability that affects the spine. "This year when I finally got the diagnosis, I think I fully understood how the arts helped me. Art is my life."
