“ I work to create visions of possibility, and 'possibility' is what drives us to the experience of tomorrow. ”
Timothy Kadish's life objective is to render a new vision for humanity through lectures, paintings, publications, and other forms of expression as an artist. His experience includes serving as a production assistant for a professional artist, an offset lithographer, a floral designer, and a teaching artist. During his junior year of high school, Timothy experienced a soccer injury that left him physically inactive for months. The arts and their forum of expression became a significant form of challenge and support. Timothy is inspired by an intense desire to affect the world. "Healing our world requires humanity to unite. Not as a group of different races, but one race: the human race. To do so will require a massive shift in perspective, and the greatest way to influence perspective is through the arts." In his work, he creates a personalized visual vocabulary to substantiate the "languages" that represent and fuel our experiences. The abstract symbols are arranged at different levels of perspective, and often disclose evolution as it relates to the growth of civilization. Timothy, who was born without fingers on his left hand, believes that a supportive, yet nonjudgmental and lenient environment is necessary for arts education. "I find that all forms of expression, when allowed to flow freely, can be the greatest of teachers. I feel that through my artwork, the physical manifestation of my expressions, I am allowed to truly see, learn, and react to this life."
