My artwork attempts to tow the viewer throughout places developing in my imagination inspired by my life experiences and interests.
Jessica Goldberg
Jessica Goldberg works primarily in oil, and approaches her work with a strong attention to detail. The surface is painstakingly reworked and often reveals delicate, transparent layers that are inspired by the artist’s love for stained glass. Her piece Prototype FDAREG is boldly immediate. She indicates, “My take on where the designer baby epic could possibly go. Make your babies like your designer bags and imagine what kind of crazy world that would be.” She also works with alternative surfaces such as wood. Goldberg, who has severe asthma, a visual impairment, learning disabilities, and bipolar disorder, is currently attending the University of South Florida in pursuit of a BFA.
