George Washington University Summer Music Institute

Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 6:00 PM

Students and faculty-artists present an evening of chamber music featuring works by Shostakovich, Widor, Lefebvre, Migot, Dvo?ák, Boccherini, Brahms, and Mozart. The Institute invites middle, high school, and college students to study with faculty-artists from the GW Department of Music and esteemed guest artists from outside the university. Unique among musical programs in the Washington, D.C. area, the Institute places many of its students in ensembles in which resident faculty both coach, rehearse, and perform side-by-side with the students.
