A valuable constituent for the past three decades, artists with disabilities are VSA arts’ key advocates and exemplars of the significance of the arts in people’s lives. Artists with disabilities play an important role in VSA arts’ efforts to advance the value of the arts in classrooms, communities, and ultimately society.
VSA arts provides information, resources, and publications that address the unique needs of artists with disabilities.
Pursuing a career in the arts is a difficult task for any artist. Artists with disabilities who are interested in learning more are invited to join VSA arts’ Artists Registry. Registration is free and entitles artists with disabilities to numerous resources, technical assistance, and opportunities for exposure, including our online Artists Registry – all geared to address career development needs of artists with disabilities.
The Artists Registry application form is available for download.
