Universal Design for Learning Award
VSA arts and the Association of Children's Museums (ACM) are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity, the inaugural year of the Universal Design for Learning Award. The award provides financial support to children's museums to support new or existing programs, exhibits, or initiatives that demonstrate best practices and innovation in the implementation of Universal Design Principles.
Universal Design for Learning Award is open to nonprofit children's museums in the United States that are voting members in good standing with ACM, and that have established partnerships with VSA arts state affiliates to develop inclusive practices. Please note that applications must be postmarked by January 15, 2005 in order to be considered by the selection committee. Winners will be notified in March and formally announced at ACM's 2005 InterActivity Conference in Indianapolis April 28-30, 2005.
