Ruth Chenven Foundation Grants for Art Projects

The Ruth Chenven Foundation gives annual awards to individual artists and craft persons living and working in the United States, who are engaged in or planning a craft or visual art project. (Film and video projects are not eligible.) It is expected that applicants will have a developed body of work. An independent jury of three artists/crafts persons will judge submissions based upon artistic merit and financial need. The jury makes its recommendations to the Board of Directors for final approval. Awards do not exceed 1500 dollars. Previous winners will not be considered.
