Call for Artists: Exhibition of Artists with HIV/AIDS

The Exhibition Advisory Panel of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center requests submissions from artists living with HIV/AIDS or from estates of artists that had HIV/AIDS for an exhibit in May of 2008. Artists must currently reside in or the estate must be from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Louisiana. The exhibition will coincide with the Fort Worth Opera s presentation of the opera Angels in America, about the early days of the epidemic. Deadline: March 30, 2008. Send 10-20 images in slide or jpg format, corresponding image list, artist statement and CV/Resume to EAP/More Life, FWCAC, 1300 Gendy, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Include SASE for return of materials.
