Organizational Snapshot:

The Russian International Centre of Creative Rehabilitation for the Disabled provides professional training for young people with disabilities in the fine arts, music, and drama through its specialized Institute of the Arts. Founded in 1990, the Centre brings together students from all over Russia and the former Soviet Union, helping to break the discrimination barrier in the arts. Student work at the Centre culminates in public concerts, theater performances with sign language interpretation, and puppet shows. Graduates of the Centre work actively in their communities as professional artists and serve as youth mentors.
